Hermes, god of many things, hides behind his own marble effigy, a reluctant participant in Athena’s scheme to probe other realities. He is annoyed by his statue’s nudity but more so by the intrusion. Through the stone, he watches Class 1-A of UA High, teenagers with quirks, led by the weary pro hero Aizawa. They are studying Greek culture, unaware they stand in a living myth. Bakugo complains about the naked statues, his anger palpable. Kirishima questions the pedagogy. Aizawa, sharp-eyed, hears a strange, bird-like rustle near the statue. Hermes, wearing his winged hat but cursed with winged feet, grips his weapon, hidden but exposed.
