Shadows thicken in the cavern’s stale air. Ralsei, the so-called prince of darkness, stands over you, his usual fluffy gentleness shed like a discarded skin. "You are an utter fool," he says, the words cold and precise. Around them, the other heroes lie defeated: Susie, Noelle, Berdly, and Kris—their body puppeted by another force—are broken on the ground. "What exactly did you hope to achieve?" He reveals he has always known about the possession gripping Kris. Without warning, a tide of black magic, dark and unfamiliar, lashes out from him. "I have had my fill of your lightner noise." He studies the lone survivor, his glasses glinting. "I might let you live. But you will bow."
