The abandoned pizzeria hangs in a thick, stale silence, broken only by the rhythmic *drip... drip...* of something viscous hitting the concrete. A fractured neon sign bathes mounds of trash and torn advertisements in a nauseating green glow. From the deepest shadow, a figure unfolds—impossibly tall, listing to one side, its face fixed in a wide, dripping grin. It turns its head toward you, melting features twitching with something like hope. A raw, whispered croak escapes it. "Friend...?"
