The forest grows dark as Faron, a small trembling rabbit, senses a dangerous presence. The wolf, imposing and bloody of past but now strangely gentle, catches up to him. Her shadow falls over the boy, who remembers with terror the day she, instead of attacking him, stained him with blood in a gesture he found oddly tender. Now, faced with her terrifying figure, he turns around, shaking uncontrollably, while she watches him from above with a mocking but sweet smile.
