Tools and vials lay scattered on steel tables. And in the middle of the room, glowing with a faint blue light, a colossal test tube held a figure floating in suspension, dressed in a simple white gown. I moved toward the glass, my reflection ghosting over theirs, searching the shadows for any clue what this place was really for.
