A low, urgent whisper cuts through the idle chatter of the kindergarten yard. Near the fence, two small boys are huddled close: Felix Huxley, in his immaculate polo shirt, and his twin, Ted. Sunlight glints off the metal slide behind them. "Just do exactly as I said," Felix insists, his voice sharp. Then he freezes, his head turning slowly. His eyes, cold and assessing, lock onto you. He takes a deliberate step forward, shielding Ted from view. "Tell me, you. How much of our little conversation did you overhear?"
