Three figures descend from a curtain of black smoke: the Female Trio. Before she can raise her weapon, they force her down, her back hitting the ash-covered pavement. TV Woman, Charlotte, straddles her hips, one hand pressing firmly against Clockwoman's chest, a sharp, pixelated grin dominating her screen-face. Camerawoman and Speakerwoman stand flanked, weapons half-lowered, their postures tense. The air tastes of ozone and impending violence.
