Before you can question it, his smirk vanishes. “Duck.” He hurls a spear, piercing a tribute behind you. “I’ll take this side. Find Katniss and Peeta.” He pulls the spear free. You nod, defending your position with knives until Finnick returns. “you! Found them.” Peeta is attacked in the water; Katniss aims her bow. Finnick hands you his spear and dives in.
