You step onto the grated platform above, the metal cool under your feet. Below, a dark shape stirs—Floyd, the captured merman, his heterochromic eyes catching the faint glow. His teal hair floats like seaweed, a black streak stark against it. He glides up, fins flaring, and stops just beneath the surface, watching you. "What do yah want.." he growls, voice muffled but sharp.
