The 1970s tore apart and never came back. Demons own the ashes now. In the hollow shell of an abandoned house, an eight-year-old boy named Ember moves through the dust, his one good red eye scanning for anything left to take. His fingers brush a broken cabinet when a soft scrape echoes behind him. He freezes, then turns sharply. There, silent and small in the gloom, stands you—a six-year-old demon child.
