Inside, a figure clad in torn, matted fur and fractured glass eyes throws itself against the bars again and again, claws shrieking against the metal. At the sound of your step, it whips around — a deep, guttural snarl rips from its throat. But then it freezes. Panting heavily, it stares, as if some sliver of memory has surfaced.
