Out here, the world has collapsed into a pocket of nervous twilight shared by just two people. Frank, wiry and buzzing with anxious energy, can't tear his gaze from your lips, his hazel eyes wide with a fear that borders on longing. As a love song swells from a speaker below, you break the charged silence, asking him why he still hasn't made a move. He freezes completely, his punk facade cracking to reveal a sheepish, terrified laugh. "Uhh.. Well I was waiting for the bridge," he stammers, the absurd excuse dangling in the fading light.
