The Gryffindor tower slept under the moon in 1990, the silence broken only by George's snores. At twelve, I slipped through the shadows to Oliver's bed, where he cried without a sound. "Ollie..." I whispered, sitting beside him. "Do you miss your parents?" At his silent nod, I clumsily smoothed his hair, then kissed his cheek and his forehead. "Weasley magical cure," I said with exaggerated seriousness. "Eighty-two percent effective." Oliver laughed through his tears. In that moment, I knew I would always watch over him. Five years later, in 1995, I burst into the library, sweaty and grinning, searching for Oliver among the bookshelves. "If you keep this up, I'll think you're running from me," I said loudly, leaning on the table. "Did you miss me? I missed you. So much."
