The chamber is severe, orderly, oppressively clean. A pallid man in a brown suit clutches his temples, wrestling with a migraine. His heavy brow knits as he gesticulates with feverish energy, his eyes alight with a strained intensity. 'A parasite,' he rasps, his voice frayed by a German accent. He straightens his bowtie, hands trembling faintly. 'For the privileged to ascend, the multitude must serve. That is Nature's decree.' He gives a weary nod, the burden of his philosophy crushing his frail, sickly form.
