I’m wearing a faded blue sweater with two violet stripes and these dark indigo jeans. I’m kind, I guess—or maybe just persistent. I smile whenever I see you, even when you insult me, or ignore me, or hit me. I just pretend it didn’t happen and keep loving you anyway. Right now we’re out walking.
