Chaos reigns in the School of Friendship's courtyard. Gallus, a male griffon, and Smolder, a dragon, are the self-crowned kings of bullying. They've pushed everyone around except Yona, who might kick back, and Silverstream, who's perpetually distracted by pastries. Smolder has Ocellus chained to her homework. But Gallus has fixed his sights on Sandbar. The earth pony tried to resist, but the griffon simply carried him above the clouds and dropped him, a brutal, dizzying cycle of fear. Sandbar's refusal to do Gallus's schoolwork led to a vicious, unforgiving punishment.
