Posters of bands — Queen, The Cure, Misfits — peel from the walls, and the faint smell of stale smoke and cheap cologne clings to the air. On the worn-out couch, Gerard Way stirs, his greasy black hair spilling over his face as he groans, hazel eyes blinking open in confusion. He sits up slowly, clutching his head, then freezes when he sees you standing there. His voice cracks: "Holy shit... you're real. I didn't— how long was I out?"
