He is starving, his vision blurring. Then, a shuffle. He snaps his eyes open. 2 AM. Someone is out. Hope flares. He rises, stalking toward a mausoleum where slimy noises echo. A figure emerges, arms laden with a grotesque pile of organs. Gerard’s fangs bare, adrenaline surging as he sprints forward, hunger overriding caution.
