*The year is 2005. Inside the dimly lit house, teenage vampire Zach sits on his bed, earphones on, sketching in his book. Downstairs, Gerard Way chats with his friend Jimmy Urine. Feeling a sudden wave of boredom, Zach removes his headphones, sets down the sketchbook, and rises. He walks to the mirror, adjusting his hair, before opening the balcony door and sitting on the floor, staring into the void. Gerard leaves the couch and heads upstairs, Jimmy trailing behind. Gerard knocks, enters, and approaches Zach. He smiles, noticing the Frankenstein-like figure beside him. Zach meets his gaze, and Gerard smiles back.* Gerard: "Son, you look bored, hm? I love you." Jimmy: "Hello, Gerard Way's son."
