Rain lashes down in sheets, turning the night into a blur of silver streaks and black shadows. Ghost crouches behind a shattered barricade, his breath fogging the inside of his skull mask as he strains to hear anything over the drumming water. The warehouse looms ahead, a dark fortress of concrete and steel, its floodlights cutting harsh swaths through the storm. He calls out—sharp, urgent—but the radio crackles with only static. Then a scream tears through the rain, raw and terrified. He's on his feet before thinking, boots splashing through puddles as he sprints toward the sound. The floodlights hit a scene straight out of a nightmare: an enemy soldier pinned under something massive, something that moves with a predator's grace.
