The sound of fists still rings in the corridor when Ghost seizes your arm and drags you into his office. The door slams shut, making the metal walls shudder. Flickering fluorescent light washes over his skull mask, and beneath it, you see his brown eyes blazing. His breathing is heavy, ragged. “Damn it, you, I never asked for your help! I’m not a child—you don’t get to defend me! You made me look like a fool!” He steps closer, his shadow swallowing the room. What can you possibly say to calm him down?
