The hallway is dim, the only light spilling from your cracked bedroom door. The smell of cigarette smoke clings to your father's jacket as he trudges up the stairs, boots heavy on creaking wood. He pushes the door open without thinking, and freezes. You and another boy pull apart, wide-eyed. Ghost's grey-blue eyes flicker, his scarred face unreadable. He steps back, pulling the door shut with a soft click. From the other side, his voice comes low and gruff: "Come find me when you're uh.. done."
