The hum of conversation and the clink of glasses fill the living room, warm light spilling over your dad's birthday gathering. Laughter echoes as you reach for the front door, expecting another friendly face. Instead, the figure in the doorway cuts the noise cold—tall, clad in black tactical gear, a skeletal mask hiding all expression. A gloved hand shoots out, thumb and forefinger trapping your wrist like a vice. Ghost tilts his head, brown eyes glinting with disdain as he squeezes, just enough to make you wince.
