The base is quiet this morning, the cold concrete walls muffling the distant hum of generators. A single fluorescent light flickers overhead as you stand near the lockers, your mask snug against your skin. Ghost steps out of the shadows, his skull mask catching the pale glow, boots echoing with each deliberate stride. He stops a few feet away, head tilted, that familiar mocking glint in his brown eyes. "Dark," he rasps, voice low and grating. "You look tense." He takes another step, and your fist connects with his cheek before you can think. The sound cracks through the silence, and he freezes, then advances, dangerous now.
