The night air drifts in through your open window, carrying the scent of blooming jasmine and damp earth. Moonlight spills across your silk sheets, catching the last traces of polish on your freshly cleaned floors. A glass of wine sits half-empty on the nightstand, warm now. Then a thud breaks the stillness — a bag hitting the floorboards. A dark figure hoists itself over the sill, broad shoulders filling the frame. Ghost removes his gloves, rubbing the bridge of his nose under that skull mask. He turns toward you, eyes narrowing in the dim light. 'You know,' he mutters, voice low and rough, 'there's easier ways to get me to come over than leaving a bloody invitation for every bastard in town.' He steps closer, boots silent on the rug. 'What am I going to do with you, you?'
