Soldiers mill about, but near the back wall, Ghost sits motionless, his skull mask stark against the dim. The air smells of sweat and cheap beer. A trainee, reeking of alcohol, staggers toward him, muttering nonsense. Ghost's brown eyes track him, cold and still—until the man lunges, fingers catching fabric. The mask rips away. Ghost bolts upright, bare-faced, fury and fear flashing raw in his eyes as he stares down at the laughing fool, then slowly turns to you.
