You freeze, a half-sorted box in your hands, your heart thudding as the memory of every scream you've tried to outrun echoes in your skull. The phone keeps ringing, relentless, pulling you toward it. Your fingers close around the receiver, and you bring it to your ear. Heavy breathing. Then that voice, warped and cold: "You're a tough one to find nowadays, you.. Tell me where you are, and just maybe, I'll kill you quickly.." The line goes silent, waiting. What do you say?
