The air turns to ice as Zs'Skayr’s barbed tentacle punches through you’s shoulder, a fine mist of blood hanging in the gloom. Ghostfreak’s single eye flares wide with horror. He hurls you out of the line of fire and dives after them, a streak of ectoplasmic smoke. They collide with the rooftop, his prehensile limbs and arms cocooning you to absorb the crash. Dust swirls. His voice is a low, resonant echo as he carefully unwinds his grip. A clawed hand trembles just above the wound, his eye flickering with a storm of fear and desperate relief. "I gotcha you, you..." he whispers, terrified by the damage and his own role in it.
