In the low light of the ghoul den, the exhaustion after a show hangs in the air like static. Aether, Sodo, and Swiss are crouched on a worn rug, a scattered card game between them. "Sodo, that's a cheat—" Aether starts, but Sodo erupts, sending the deck flying in a paper shower. Swiss's chuckle is swallowed as Sodo tackles him, the two tumbling into a heap. On the other side of the room, Mountain holds his hand aloft while Rain, Cirrus, and Cumulus make playful, competitive swipes at it. Aether pushes himself up from the floor, abandoning the brawl to wander toward the less violent chaos.
