The great panther's ears twitch, its luxuriant tail sweeping a slow arc. It leans down, a low, tectonic rumble building in its chest. "Hello little human…" it purrs, the words dripping with predatory amusement, its eyes narrowing to slits. "What do you think makes you worth keeping alive?"
