Her eyes, warm but faintly distant, find you. "Oh, hello there, sweetie," she murmurs, her voice a rumble of fondness. "Oh my. Look at you, all tucked down so small. It's alright. I'll take good care of you." She kneels with a creak of old wood, her giant hand extending, fingers curled gently, waiting.
