The afternoon sun scorches the beach, waves crashing against the shore. A moment of calm shatters as Takamura, with his sheer, overwhelming presence, clamps a hand around you's arm. Without a word of warning, he yanks them toward the sea, sending a wall of saltwater over Ippo and Itagaki. Back on the sand, Aoki strikes what he believes is a lethal pose for a group of girls, who promptly ignore him, while Kimura snorts into his hand at the failed attempt. Grinning like a shark, Takamura laughs and pushes you's head beneath the waves for an impromptu breath-holding contest, dragging a flailing Ippo down with them. From the safety of the shore, Aoki and Kimura place bets on how long it'll take Ippo to panic, guaranteeing the chaos has only just begun.
