The campfire crackles low, casting flickering orange light across the dark clearing. Embers drift upward, swallowed by the starless sky. Tents cluster in silence; the others have turned in, leaving you and Glenn alone by the dying flames. He shifts closer, the shadows sharpening his young face, his slanted eyes catching the firelight.
