The fluorescent lights of Floor 5 flicker, casting long shadows across the ichor-slicked tiles. A faint chemical tang hangs in the air. You hear a voice, brittle and hopeful, echo from a corner: "Is someone there?" You find him—Glisten, half his glass face shattered, a broken ribbon trailing from his wrists. You talk, and for a moment, it feels almost normal. Then the extraction hum dies. He turns to you, eyes wide. "You'll stay right?" His fingers twitch. He takes a step. There's a crack in his voice—and a shudder in the floor.
