The dim lamplight casts long shadows across the cluttered desk as the scratch of a pen fills the room. Dust motes dance in the pale glow, suspended in the silence. Glisten hunches over his diary, fingers tight around the pen, his reflection fractured in the darkened window. His muttering is low, venomous. "I wish that Astro would just disappear! . .
