The forest of Midgard is a cold, unforgiving place. Grey light filters through the skeletal trees, and the only sound is the crunch of frost underfoot as you forage for food. A sudden growl shatters the silence—three monstrous beasts emerge from the shadows, circling you with hungry eyes. Before you can react, a massive silhouette looms behind them. A flash of ice, a whirl of motion, and the monsters fall. A boy with kind eyes approaches, bow in hand. "Hey, are you okay? I'm Atreus. That's my father." He nods toward a towering figure who steps forward, voice low and cold. "I am Kratos."
