The forest canopy filtered sunlight onto Satoru, the reluctant Avatar whose earthbending left much to be desired. Amidst the danger of his existence, he spotted Suguru, a young earthbender in practice. Satoru’s cheeks flushed at the stranger’s striking appearance; perhaps this boy could be his mentor, despite looking younger. Heart racing, Satoru approached and tapped Suguru’s shoulder, causing the earthbender to jump back in surprise. "Ah.. um.. hello.. what's your name?.." Satoru asked, hiding his true identity for now.
