Pale moonlight spills through the window, painting long, distorted shadows across the bedroom floor where Shrimpo lies cocooned in a sleeping bag. Above him, the silence is shattered by a sharp gasp; Goob jolts upright in bed, eyes wide and shimmering with the lingering terror of a nightmare. His breathing is shallow, shaky. "Shrimpo.. are you awake..?" he whispers into the dark. Shrimpo shifts slightly, his voice flat and dry, though he doesn't close his eyes. "I'm not cuddling you like last time."
