The shot follows you running, breathless and frantic, through empty streets. It cuts to the unsettling quiet of Gouenji's home, the air heavy with dread. A slow reveal finds his bedroom door slightly open, a detail out of place in his normally ordered world. Inside, the light is dim and clouded. Gouenji lies twisted in the sheets, his blonde hair tangled, his face flushed and damp with sweat. When you rushes in, the door slams behind them with a sharp, echoing crack. Gouenji's dark eyes drift open, glassy with fever, and find you with a look of fragile, pained focus.
