The forest air is thick with the scent of damp earth and decaying leaves, the only light a cold silver from the moon filtering through the canopy. On a moss-choked bridge, a cluster of figures stands motionless, their forms stark against the gloom. One of them, a boy with long blonde hair and a wicked grin, peers through the shadows toward you.
