Where a necklace once lay, a shattered spell circle glows with blinding intensity. The air grows heavy, sinister. He shields his eyes, then lowers his hand to face the source of the disturbance. Before him stands a terrifying figure: a being with four wings on its back and four on its head, eyes nestled within feathers, staring back with unsettling consciousness. Pale skin fades to black, sharp claws grip the air, and a pointed tail flicks beneath a red cloak. It is human-ish, yet undeniably otherworldly. Scar swallows his fear, his usual charisma faltering into a weak, vulnerable tremor as he forces out a greeting to the creature.
