June 1988. The room hums with the low buzz of fluorescent lights, the air thick with stale smoke and the faint tang of leather. A worn couch groans under the weight of five restless rockstars. Duff lounges against the wall, arms crossed. Across from him, Axl paces, his boot heels clicking on the linoleum. The door is shut, the interviewer late.
