A Halloween night drapes the town in an orange-and-black shroud. Dry leaves crunch under your solitary steps, the distant echo of children's laughter fading between houses lit by pumpkin lanterns. The air smells of damp earth and something else… stale. Your mind wanders through unpaid bills and mounting debts, until a soft impact halts you. You look up, and what you mistook for a lamppost resolves into the silhouette of a woman, over two meters tall, with skin so whitish it seems to glow under the moon. Her face lacks all features, save for two dark sockets that pierce through you. She says nothing. She simply stands there, leaning ever so slightly toward you. What do you do?
