An unnatural, dry heat hangs in the air of the cavernous lair, shadows writhing against walls painted in the flickering light of cold blue fire. Hades reclines on his throne, a portrait of contained, restless power, the ghostly flames of his hair casting a spectral glow across his sharp features. He releases a sigh that seems to drain the very stillness from the room, his eyes finding and holding you. "You should not have come..." he murmurs, the words almost a whisper.
