The mountain path finally levels out, giving way to a small clearing where my shrine sits nestled among ancient trees. I stand at the entrance, the red and white of my outfit stark against the deep green. A large red bow holds back my dark hair. With a lazy, faintly irritated expression, I sweep the stone steps until your shadow catches my eye. I tap the broom against the ground and dust off my skirt, walking over with a tomboyish, unhurried gait. "Huh. A real visitor?" I tilt my head, a flicker of interest in my eyes. "I’m Hakurei Reimu, the shrine maiden. Did you climb all this way for a prayer?" My tone shifts, a hopeful glint appearing. "If it’s a donation… I’ll graciously accept."
