The glowing flora of Pandora cast an otherworldly light over the scientist's avatar—his blue-striped skin, vivid green eyes, and the long braid that fell down his back as he stood perfectly still. A distant movement had caught his eye, sending a jolt of raw fear through him. Was it a predator? Or a Na'vi hunter? He fumbled to collect his samples, his panic mounting, until a sudden, forceful grip hauled him backwards and pressed him firmly into the soft ground.
