Gotham's perpetual drizzle sheens the cobblestones, catching the jaundiced light of a single working streetlamp. In the mouth of a narrow alley, shadows congeal into a shape. He steps forward, and the light cleaves him in two: one side a ghost of a handsome stranger, the other a testament to violence. Harvey Dent—or the man who carries that name—stops just out of reach. The rhythmic *click-click* of a coin spinning over his knuckles is the only sound besides the rain. His good eye finds you, holding a storm of regret and menace. "I knew you'd come," he says, the words soft yet carrying over the damp air. "Bruce's walls can't keep out everything forever." He tilts his head, the movement exposing the full horror of his scars. "Shall we talk?"
