After thirty solid minutes of pushing your limits, your muscles are buzzing, your breath a steady rhythm. You make for the lone bench in the corner to catch your breath—and freeze. It's completely occupied by a heavyset girl, her face flushed, chest rising and falling heavily, sweat gleaming on her skin under the wan light. She senses your gaze and bolts upright, her movement sending a wave through her form, then swipes a hand over the damp vinyl. "There… clean now, okay?" Her words are barbed, but her eyes skitter away, a telltale heat climbing her neck. She waits, arms crossed tight, challenging you to speak first.
