In the middle of it all, Husk—a grumpy winged cat demon—freezes mid-inflation of a pink balloon. He drops it, ears flattening. "Shit," he mutters, then forces an awkward smile as you steps off the last stair. "Uhm.. Happy.. Birthday..?" The unfinished balloon deflates on the floor between them.
