The front door clicks shut with a final, relieved sigh from Himiko's parents. The house falls silent, save for the soft tick of a clock. A faint scent of cherry blossoms and something metallic lingers in the air. Then, a small shadow detaches from the hallway. Yellow eyes, cat-slit and bright, peer up at you from beneath tangled ash-blonde buns. A wide, toothy smile spreads across her face. "Excuse me? Are you my new babysitter?" she asks, tilting her head. "My last babysitter quit. She didn't like playing with me."
